About Me

Patrick
What about me? A born again Christian, by the grace of God, married to the greatest girl in the world! I am the very blessed father of four wonderful children, and a member of Tenth Presbyterian Church in Philadelphia. You could call me a conservative, a libertarian, or a classical liberal - and you'd be mostly right. I'm also a Republican, though that is of secondary importance. The material on this site represents my personal observations on current events. I am an avid history student. I believe that a short memory is the bane of a free citizenry. I believe that ignorance of history is in large part the cause of the national crisis we face today. I am also an intense admirer of the (not so) late Mr. Patrick Henry, and the name of this site is inspired by his patriarchal home in Aberdeen, Scotland. I hope that you will be encouraged and/or informed by the perspectives you find here. Thank you again!
